Outdoor Classroom
 

From the beginning one of the fundamental objectives of the Cypress Preserve Trust was to create a pleasing setting which could function as an outdoor laboratory for the study of our natural environment. One way in which the Trust has attempted to accomplish this is through the placement of numerous informational signs along the preserve's half-mile trail for the purpose of depicting the manifold environmental elements existing within the preserve. 

 

Another example of how the Trust is working to create an outdoor laboratory is the "classroom" at the north end of the meadow.  Teachers and students can sit on the benches to discuss their findings or write.  It is available for students and teachers at anytime.
